17 th march St Patricks Day

Enjoy the St Patricks celebration here at the office on Saturday the 17th March. Our staff will be in leprechaun outfits and will be providing their usual witty banter. Come on in and try our Irish traditional food, guinness and cocktails and whiskies .

To take advantage ...of the festivities we will be raising money for the aberdeen street pastors

Street pastors wear a blue uniform, with the term 'Street Pastor' visible in white. Street pastors work closely with councils including aberdeen city council and grampian police or police in their local areas, but maintain an operational independence. Street pastors seek to maintain confidentiality so far as is legal, and do not have any powers of enforcement or arrest. Street pastors are expected to provide services unconditionally. The aim of Street Pastors is not to proactively preach or evangelise, but to provide a neutral and reassuring presence in local communities.

Basicly they take the pressure off the local emergency services providing help and first aid therefore releiving the burden on the police and helping distressed injured and overly intoxicated individuals out on the tiles untill help arrives.

We at the office bar think they do a great job and want to help.

Main Personal qualities required:

  1. Be friendly, smiley, sociable and welcoming to our customers, to create a great atmosphere
  2. Be confident and self-motivated
  3. Be helpful and go out of your way to help our customers

  5. Always be a good team player
  6. Be able to communicate well with people of all levels

Main Responsibilities required:

  1. Deliver excellent customer service, at all times
  2. Serve and present beverages, quickly and efficiently, meeting our standards
  3. Keep up to date with current promotions and new products
  4. Always adhere to all company policies and procedures and licensing laws
  5. Assist in keeping the bar/club clean and tidy, at all times

Halloween 2011

This year THE OFFICE bar has a treat for Halloween! Our very fantasic film making friends 'Scottish Badlands' are going to be showing the trailer for their new short film 'The Dying Seconds'. The trailer will be shown Halloween night Monday the 31st of October at 9pm. So come join us for a night of food, fundraising and footage.

Lots going on at the office this week

This week saw the launch of our new lunch, grill and mains menus as well as our new extended food service times. We are now serving food from 11am until 11pm! Now there is no need to nip to the chipper for that late night nibble! We now have everything from a cheese and ham toastie to our monter chilli bowl to good old jumbo haddock and chips! Whet your appetite by looking at our new food service menu here.
